3. Academic institutions licensed in the Emirate, on condition of submitting evidence of the institution's approval for applying for a patent grant.

4. Any other economic establishment licensed by the competent authorities in the Emirate, on condition of submitting evidence of the establishment's approval for applying for a patent grant.

2. The idea is inventive/creative.

3. The idea is technical in nature.

4. The idea is new, in that it has never been done before.

5. There is a plan to use the idea in a product or service.

1. Application: Fill the application form and submit documents that provide a high-level description of the invention.

2. Evaluation: AD.iP evaluates your application to ensure eligibility and completeness, which may include an in-person interview with the inventor(s).

3. Approval/rejection: AD.iP will communicate the evaluation result to the applicant, including potential next steps.

4. If approved: Patent funding grant procedures.

In most cases, it takes approximately one month to start the grant payment, if your funding application is approved.
