The Abu Dhabi Intellectual Property Unit (AD.iP) recently provided workshops to inventors, scientist, and entrepreneurs from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Hub 71, and the Advanced Technology Research Council. In these workshops AD. IP’s experts shared insights on how to identify valuable innovations and how to protect them with Intellectual Property rights such as patents, industrial designs, or trademarks. The workshops were highly appreciated by the about 150 participants and 86% percent rated them either as “very good” or “excellent”. “It was really a fruitful session for all of us that has for sure enhanced our understanding of the IP and possible support from AD.iP”, said Dr. Farhan Malik, from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. With these workshops AD.iP keeps on fulfilling their mission to provide best-in-class Intellectual Property services for the knowledge-based economy in Abu Dhabi.
